What is a Crown?
The outermost layer of the tooth is called enamel and it is the hardest part of human body.
Although teeth are strong; trauma, caries and extensive dental work (such as large fillings and root canals) can chip or break them.
Teeth also tend to wear down with time. Crowns (caps) are an ideal option to restore and save broken teeth and strengthen them.
The crown fits over the prepared existing tooth and replaces the natural structure and function.
Same-day Crowns and Bridges/Cerec
- Too busy for multiple dental appointments?
- Don’t like bulky/gagging impressions?
- Do you have broken down teeth or failing fillings?
- Payment plans available
If you’ve needed a crown in the past, the bad experience of gagging impressions, temporary crowns, and multiple visits until you reach the final outcome may sound familiar.
But at Dental Precinct, Dr Olivia and Dr Vik eliminate these negatives and instead, create a positive, relaxing experience where your entire treatment is completed in one visit using Cerec state of the art technology.
Smile and happiness looks gorgeous on you!
CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Aesthetic Ceramics.
The system combines an in-house milling machine, computer programs and 3D imaging which allows us to create crowns and bridges right here at the practice in as little as 90 minutes.
